Double neck walking the line vessel
Double neck vessel in a matt green glaze. This shape is heavily influenced by a vessel I made when on a pottery residency in Morocco, in the Rif Mountains studying under master potter Mama Aicha.
The markings on this piece come from a series inspired by tide lines shown on Google Maps over Lower Halstow’s Brickfields, Kent. The title comes from a wonderful quote by artist Paul Klee “a drawing is simply a line going for a walk”.
